These times are longed for and cherished when the hustle and bustle is taking place. At work, or busy with household needs, fishermen draw near to the memories of the fishing stories. They look forward to the next fishing trip. 

This is what KFS wants to continue creating. Fishing memories and more fishing stories so it carries on, carries forward. KFS wants fishermen to reminiscence of their time on the water, in nature, in the beauty. We do not want to lose this in the busyness of modern day. 

Let us remember the fishing stories, Let's make sure to get out on the water, fish, and enjoy the nature given us.

Beginning as a hobby...

Raised on the Gulf Coast waters of South-Central Louisiana, a passion for water and the industry it served came naturally.  With 29 years professional experience in the marine towing industry, the inspiration to open Knightatc Fishing Shop, LLC (KFS) came when a medical issue arose. KFS was inspired through this difficulty. This is how a hobby became a business. The inspiration was to market services to the wealth of fishermen in our area, working from home performing fishing rod and reel repair, cleaning, and customization. 

Coasting along after ten years of business, KFS added services and began expansion. In 2023-24 offering boat repair and maintenance with shipyard access increased interest in the business. Growth began to occur and new refreshed perspective arose. The opportunity facing KFS to serve customers as a one-stop shop entity showed great potential.  After a couple of adjustments and hiring employees, KFS began to grow. This is without advertising and marketing, simply word of mouth and the work quality spoke for itself. 

Now KFS is looking to identify another location and begin serving fishermen, boaters, and commercial fisherman in a greater capacity. 

As a one-stop-shop we desire our customers needs to be met in one place, serving them, making sure they are satisfied with the various services they can attain. That is the goal, saving our customers time and money, so they can enjoy leisure and not worry about the details. They can entrust their boat, their fishing gear, apparel, and lawns with KFS and know they will be taken care of. High quality products and service with the best customer relations, this is what KFS is all about.
